I have been hand painting porcelaine items as presents
for many years for such occasions as weddings, christenings, parties etc and
giving them to friends. This has led to me receiving commissions for more and
I have started to take orders. With the help of fellow painters I am now able
to take orders for similar presents and any items and wording can be painted.
The choice of item for painting is unlimited and I can only show a few examples,

but email me with your requests. It normally takes 2 to 4 weeks for the finished
item but if it is going to be longer I will tell you immediately.
I had thought that the dishes plates etc would be used, how silly, they have
without exception been treasured and put on display, giving the recipient immense
pleasure. Any items that are to be used especially involving using a knife when
eating are produced using a different process at an additional cost. Prices
are shown as Oven Baked or Kiln Fired*.
Paints used in Oven Baking are non-toxic and dish washer proof. Items kiln fired
are safe for cutting although like all glazed items frequent use , cups that
have been stirred with a metal spoon, can wear the glaze away. We normally use
white glossy glazed china, which may seem boring, but it is wonderful to look
at.
Ideal for occasions such as Weddings, Christenings,
Birthdays, Engagements or any other special function where a hand painted unique
item will be treasured.

Our signature plates are ideal for weddings, christenings and any special occasion. Instead of a guest book just ask the guests to sign the plate and you will have a permanent reminder of the guests on your special day! Just advise me of the special occasion and select one of the plates shown above, and the Kiln Fired price.
The price includes the names , a message and one decal of your choice, suggest you only use a small one or none at all. The choice of names and messages is unlimited as all items are unique so whatever you require.
Post and package is £7.50 per item.
A special felt tip pen is included in the price for Signature Plates and you can choose any of 9 colours. Ask the guests to sign the item, mistakes can be easily wiped off with a damp cotton bud, leave the item for a minimum of 24 hours and then bake in a domestic oven for 35 minutes at 150 degrees and the signatures become dishwasher proof. See my site www.porcelainepaints.com for the colour charts and details of baking. The pens come in 9 colours and two thicknesses and additional coloured pens are available at £3.10 each. I suggest that you use the extra fine ones for writing. One pen will be sufficient for lots of people but different colours make the item more attractive. Just email me with your enquiries, give me your phone number if a call back is necessary, because if I am painting I can not stop!

Hand Painted Ceramic Tiles
Hand made and Hand Painted Ceramic Tiles for Kitchens and Bathrooms.
Every Designer Kitchen and Bathroom deserves at least some hand painted limited edition tiles. From a few tiles to one square metre of tiles that reflects the owners life style. A completely bespoke service from the manufacture of the tiles, origination of the design to the delivery of the finished items. These tiles are made to be fitted in Kitchens, Bathrooms and Showers just like any other tile but you will never see the same design anywhere else. Hand made tiles are available in an unlimited choice of size and colour. The 2 examples are in the style of Delph tiles from Holland. The theme is plain tiles, corner tiles and centre tiles. The design of the corners and the centre is unlimited. Tiles can be either 4.25 inches or 6 inches and you can supply the tiles if you wish. An example of prices would be £7.00 for the corner tile and £11.00 for the centre tile. The degree of complication governs the cost. There is a minimum order cost of £50.00 plus 7.50 postage. Bigger tiles can be hand painted but they are more difficult/expensive as the risk of breaking when refired in the kiln is much greater. Why not order just a few to brighten up your area when tiling or go for a completely bespoke room. Centre decorated tiles can be placed anywhere but a good pattern can be created using a mixture of plain, corner and centre tiles. Contact me to discuss your ideas and suggestions.
